Learn How to Make Assisted Stretch Part of Your Practice.

You know the clients.

The hips that feel tight after hours at a desk.

The shoulders that struggle to move freely.

The person who says, “I know I should stretch, but I never do.”

Give them another way to work with you.

Our virtual Assisted Stretch training teaches you how to guide clients through focused, supported stretches and bring these techniques into the work you already do.

Your Clients Need More Than Another Stretch.

Your Clients Need More Than Another Stretch.

Built for Bodyworkers

This training is designed for massage therapists, Thai Massage practitioners, yoga teachers, personal trainers and other movement professionals who want to expand their hands-on skills.

You already work with bodies.

You understand that each client moves differently.

Now build on that experience with a practical approach to assisted stretching.

Learn to use positioning, support and clear communication to create sessions that respond to your client’s needs.

More Skills. More Ways to Help.

Assisted Stretch gives you another tool for clients who want to work on mobility, flexibility and ease of movement.

Use it within your existing scope of practice to:

  • Add focused stretching to your current sessions.

  • Offer a dedicated Assisted Stretch appointment.

  • Bring more variety to your treatments.

  • Support clients who find stretching on their own difficult.

  • Create a new service without a large equipment investment.

You don’t have to change careers to change what you offer.

Sometimes your next step is learning a skill that makes your current work even better.

Level 1 — Foundations

Online content released: October 19, 2026
Live virtual session with Karen: Tuesday, October 27, 2026
Fall virtual price: $350

Learn the foundations of Assisted Stretch and how to begin incorporating stretching and movement into your existing treatments.

Level 1 introduces:

  • Practitioner positioning

  • Body mechanics

  • Client positioning

  • Communication

  • Basic stretching principles

  • Safe application

  • Practical Assisted Stretch techniques

  • Ways to incorporate stretching into an existing treatment

Great for working with:

  • Tight hamstrings

  • Restricted hip mobility

  • Tight hip flexors

  • Glute tension

  • Lower-body stiffness

  • Desk workers

  • Golfers

  • Runners

  • Cyclists

  • Active adults

  • Clients returning to activity

  • Clients who simply don't move as easily as they used to

You'll also learn how to modify the stretches for different bodies, different levels of flexibility and different ranges of motion.

The goal isn't to make every client more flexible.

It's to give you more ways to help clients move comfortably and confidently within their own body.

Level 2 — Lower Body

Online Material Released: Nov. 2
Live Virtual with Karen: Tues. Nov. 10 & 17
Virtual: $650

This is where we start getting much more specific.

Level 2 focuses on the lower-body issues massage therapists and bodyworkers see again and again.

Think about the clients who tell you:

“My hamstrings are always tight.”

“My hips feel stiff.”

“My lower back gets tight after sitting.”

“I can't move the way I used to.”

“I golf, run or work out, but everything feels tight afterward.”

Instead of simply adding a couple of stretches at the end of a massage, you'll learn how to use Assisted Stretch as part of a more focused approach to lower-body mobility.

We'll work with areas and common concerns such as:

Hamstrings & Posterior Chain
Learn different ways to work with clients experiencing chronically tight hamstrings and restrictions through the back of the legs.

Hip Mobility
Work with hip flexion, extension and rotation to give you more options for clients who feel stiff or restricted through the hips.

Hip Flexors & Quads
Useful for clients who spend long hours sitting, cycling, running or participating in sports.

Glutes & Deep Hip Muscles
Explore stretches and positioning for the gluteal and deeper hip region.

Low Back & Hip Connection
Learn ways to incorporate lower-body stretching when clients describe tension or restricted movement involving the hips and lower back.

Calves & Lower Legs
Add techniques for clients who spend long hours standing, walk or run regularly, or experience ongoing lower-leg tightness.

Level 3 — Upper Body

Neck • Shoulders • Chest • Upper Back • Arms

Online Material Released: Nov. 30
Live Virtual with Karen: Tues. Dec. 15 & 22
Virtual: $650

Level 3 takes the same practical approach and applies it to the upper body.

These are the clients massage therapists see every day:

“My neck and shoulders are always tight.”

“I sit at a computer all day.”

“I can't get my arm all the way overhead anymore.”

“My shoulders feel rounded forward.”

“I've had a frozen shoulder and still don't have my movement back.”

This course gives you more options than simply working harder on tight muscles.

You'll learn Assisted Stretch techniques that can be incorporated into your existing treatments to support upper-body mobility and comfortable movement.

We'll explore techniques for:

Neck & Shoulder Tension
Learn gentle stretching and positioning options for clients who regularly experience neck and shoulder tightness.

Restricted Shoulder Mobility
Work with different shoulder movements and positions to help you adapt your treatment to the client's available range of motion.

Frozen Shoulder / Limited Shoulder Movement
Learn gentle, appropriate Assisted Stretch approaches for clients who have experienced frozen shoulder or significant shoulder restriction, working within their current range and scope of practice.

Chest & Anterior Shoulder Tightness
Useful for clients with rounded-forward posture or those who spend significant time driving, working at computers or using devices.

Upper Back & Thoracic Mobility
Explore techniques designed to encourage movement through the upper back and thoracic area.

Arms & Forearms
Add stretching options for clients who work with their hands, use computers, play sports or experience repetitive upper-body demands.

Great for working with:

  • Neck and shoulder tension

  • Restricted shoulder movement

  • Previous frozen shoulder

  • Rounded-forward posture

  • Upper-back stiffness

  • Desk and computer workers

  • Golfers

  • Racquet-sport players

  • Active adults

  • Clients with repetitive occupations

  • Clients who are losing mobility as they age

You'll learn how to modify techniques when a client doesn't have full range of motion, rather than trying to force them into a textbook stretch.

That's especially important when working with older clients or anyone with previous injuries or movement restrictions.
