Thai Table Massage Intro
Introduces students to the art of Thai massage adapted for a massage table,
combining traditional techniques such as rhythmic compression, acupressure, and assisted stretching
with the convenience and accessibility of a table setup. This course provides a foundational
understanding of delivering a therapeutic Thai massage experience in a spa or clinical setting, focusing
on the Supine and Prone positions. Students will learn to work with Sen energy lines and perform a 60-
minute session tailored for table use.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
• Describe the principles and benefits of Thai Table Massage.
• Identify 2 major Sen energy lines of the legs (Kalathari, Itta/Pingkala) and their health benefits.
• Perform 50 Thai massage sequences in Supine and Prone positions using a massage table.
• Apply rhythmic compressions, acupressure, and assisted stretches using thumbs, palms, and forearms.
• Demonstrate proper table height adjustment and body mechanics for practitioner safety.
• Utilize techniques to target legs, hips, back, and shoulders in a table-based setting.
• Deliver a 60-minute Thai Table Massage session with a cohesive flow.
