Thai Knee & Elbow Course

Course Description

Thai Knee and Elbow Massage is a traditional therapeutic practice rooted in Thai massage principles, focusing on the precise application of pressure using the knees and elbows to relieve tension, improve mobility, and promote relaxation. This 15-hour course teaches students how to perform a 60-minute Thai Knee and Elbow Massage, utilizing targeted techniques to address muscle tension and joint stiffness in key areas of the body. Students will learn to use their knees and elbows effectively while maintaining proper body mechanics to minimize strain.  

Course Prerequisites

Level 1 & Level 2 are required.

Students must be at least 18 years old and in good physical health to perform and receive massage techniques during practice sessions.  

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

• Explain the principles of Thai Knee and Elbow Massage.

• Identify key muscle groups and joints targeted by knee and elbow techniques.

• Demonstrate proper body mechanics for using knees and elbows in massage.

• Perform 25 specific knee and elbow massage techniques for therapeutic relief.

• Apply a step-by-step approach to deliver a 60-minute Thai Knee and Elbow Massage.

• Ensure client comfort and safety during treatments.

• Assess and adapt techniques based on client needs and feedback.
