Chiang Rai - Temples and Mae Khong River Cruise
This morning, we visit Wat Rong Suea Ten (the blue temple), the temple is a fascinating fusion of traditional Buddhist values and classic Thai architecture with extremely contemporary design choices (designed by Putha Kabkaew, a student of the artist who built the eccentric White Temple). From here we continue to Bandaam Museum The Black Temple (which is a cluster of houses that accommodates large collections of Art & Sculptures by another Thai Famous Artist - Thawan Duchanee).
After lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expenses), we continue North to Chiangsaen to visit the Ruins & Temples of this ancient City. From here we take a short boat trip on the Mae Khong River, around the Golden Triangle.
On completion, we drive to the City and transfer you back to the Hotel.
